To guide individuals through a transformative journey of taubah (repentance), healing, and self-renewal and helping them overcome their past, reconnect with their fitrah (innate nature), and embrace a purposeful future rooted in Islamic values and faith.
Recent highlights from our community activities and special events
Founded in 2006 by Ustaz Pasuni Maulan, then Chairman of Masjid Tentera Di Raja, in collaboration with Pristine Medical Clinic, Mudik Ke Hulu is a community-driven initiative that provides safe and subsidized tattoo removal for Muslim individuals in Singapore.
With the support of MUIS, the programme aspires to expand its reach while continuing to receive strong encouragement from the wider Malay/Muslim community.
Since its inception, Masjid Tentera Di Raja has welcomed nearly 900 participants into the Mudik Ke Hulu programme. Participation trends have remained consistently encouraging over the years.
In 2026, MKH reached a significant milestone with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Skin Centre (NSC). This partnership strengthens our clinical ecosystem and expands access to safe, high-standard tattoo removal care. Participants now have the option to receive treatment at either Pristine Medical Clinic or NSC, based on suitability and preference, while remaining supported under MKH's structured programme and subsidy framework.
In conjunction with MKH20, Mudik Ke Hulu also launched its Regional Hub Expansion Plan as a key initiative under the MKH20 Strategic Framework. The first milestone of this initiative was the establishment of the MKH East Hub through a strategic partnership with Masjid Haji Mohd Salleh. As MKH's first regional mosque partner, the East Hub strengthens our presence in the eastern region and serves as a foundation for future collaborations with other mosques. Through this hub-and-spoke model, MKH aims to progressively expand its programmes and services across the East, making structured rehabilitation, guidance, and tattoo removal support more accessible to the wider community.
As demand continues to grow, we remain committed to upholding the highest standards of quality, service, and care. Through strategic partnerships, regional expansion, and continuous programme development, we strive to ensure every participant receives the support, guidance, and treatment they deserve while building a stronger, more inclusive community for future generations.

(Self-Reflection)
We believe every transformation begins with sincere self-reflection. MKH supports individuals in evaluating their past and embracing the path of change with intention and humility.

(Resilience)
We uphold the value of inner strength. Through challenges and healing such as the process of tattoo removal, we help participants rise with dignity and perseverance.

(Divine Guidance)
We are grounded in spiritual direction. MKH offers a journey not just of physical change, but one inspired by faith, guided by Allah's mercy and purpose.
The MKH Program takes a holistic approach through three phases, Foundation, Treatment, and Advocates where we guiding participants from personal growth and healing to serving back at the mosque as role models for future batches.

Our Foundation Program is a transformative 12-week journey designed to build strong spiritual grounding, positive character values, and meaningful community contribution. The program is anchored on three core pillars:
• Spiritual Enhancement
• Character Development
• Community Involvement

After completing the 12-week foundation program with at least 80% attendance, participants become eligible for the MKH Relief Scheme, which offers up to 50% subsidy for their treatment. Built on group appointments, safe treatment, and meaningful progress, our process ensures every participant is well supported. Through MKH Connect check-ins, we track their journey and channel feedback directly to the doctors. With consistent attendance, participants can complete their treatment within 1.5 to 3 years.

Launched in Q4 2025, MKH Advocates is the phase where past participants given a opportunity by serving as motivators and role models for new intakes. Soon, they will undergo self development and leadership programmes. Meanwhile they also contribute to planning activities and support community initiatives for MKH. Soon to be implemented Buddy System, will pair each advocate with a new participant to keep them committed and supported throughout the MKH journey, nurturing a continuous cycle of empowerment where those who once benefited now uplift others.
